Since receiving my Ethos, I no longer have to get out of my wheelchair to get comfortable. There's such a good feeling to this chair and as a result I feel less pain in my back at the end of the day.

Ethos is the best chair I've had. After getting in it I quickly experienced the difference from my old chair. The effects from bumps on the sidewalk were nonexistent. It's smooth, quiet and easy to push. Being isolated from the ground really makes a difference in how much smoother the ride is. Also, I think it looks really cool compared to some of the other chairs out there.

I've been riding Ethos for 6 months and I love it! After a long day in my old wheelchair my back and hip area was always so sore and my feet were always bouncing off my footplate which would cause a lot of clonus. I don't experience any of that with Ethos. In fact, when I got my Ethos I was still trying to pull my feet back up on the foot plate out of habit, but they were already there! It's amazing. It has significantly reduced my spasticity and improved how I feel throughout the day. I'm getting older, I'm 46 now. So, to have less pain and more energy makes a huge difference. I'm so happy with my Ethos and as a bonus, I loved picking from all the colors options to create something that was really "me". It's so pretty! I get compliments all the time.

My first impression of Ethos was wow! It's new, exciting and rides smoother than any other chair I have been in before. Ethos significantly reduces the vibration I feel from the road and now I come back from rides feeling less fatigued. The vibration damping components of Ethos pays dividends. I also find the design to be incredibly solid. If you weren't looking at it, if you just closed your eyes, picked it up, shifted it around and jumped in it - you would never think it has a separate seat and base frame. Trust me, I have ridden pretty much every wheelchair out there, all the way back to the E & J chairs. The difference in how I feel every day is amazing. This is the chair we have all been waiting for.

I have three clients with low spinal cord injuries, and they were complaining about pain in their lower lumbar area, spasticity in the lower leg or a combination of both. This was largely caused by vibrations experienced in their previous wheelchairs. I had them try Ethos and each one said the vibration they felt was reduced 30-50% depending on the type of surface they were on. As a result, they all experienced less pain and spasticity. Each client rides an Ethos now and they all say its been a great improvement over their prior chair. One of my patients experienced a right hip disarticulation, so he uses a wheelchair pretty much all day when he's not using his prosthesis. He needed something with a more rigid frame and he's a heavier guy, so he requires an efficient push to preserve his shoulders.
