Tires

Pneumatic Tire
  • 22", 24", 26" x 1 3/8".
  • Lighter than Poly tires thus it requires less energy to propel the chair.
  • Air in the tire is more forgiving when going over obstacles and off of curbs or stairs.
Iron Cap Tire
  • The best value in a wheelchair tire. Available for 24" or 26" wheels.
  • 110 lbs of pressure. High-pressure tire has minimal rolling resistance.
  • Puncture resistant fiber cap lessens the possibility of a puncture by 90%.
  • Black wall look.
High Pressure 1'' Tire
  • 24 x 1" or 26 x 1".
  • Only offered on the Octopus wheel.
  • 110 - 120 lbs of tire pressure, has minimal rolling resistance
Airless Insert
  • Low-density foam that is “inserted” into a pneumatic tire.
  • Low Maintenance - No air, no flat tires. Still may need to replace outer tire.
  • Softer ride than poly tires
Poly Tires
  • Corded to prevent it from rolling off of the wheel.
  • Softer ride than low cost “Over molded” tires.
  • Replaceable
  • Durable and maintenance free
Low Profile Poly Tire
  • Used on a 22" or a 24" wheel but, because of its low profile, the wheel and tire combination actually measures 1" less (21" and 23").

  Full Profile Poly TIre
  • Designed to have the same look and size as a pneumatic tire, maintenance free.

  Shox Performance Poly TIre
  • Durable High Density poly tire with a very firm ride, comparable to a KIK tire.
